The Big “D”

Good times in Dallas, aka Big D! The drive was long but still we had a blast. I did get my pic with Gwen Stefani’s Harajuku girls! WOOHOO!! I am the coolest!!

Our hotel room was awesome, except for Sunday morning when I awoke to a stain on a pillow! OMG! Reminds me of my long lost Seester’s blog A Trip to the Big Easy HOLY COW! All I know is this big round ball pillow was on my bed and when my friend Kelly woke up it was on the floor and she saw this stain that looked like it was semen! EWWW!!! AND there were blood stains on her sheets! I mean heck. When you are coming in late at night, drunk, and tired you don’t really pay much attention. So when we woke up to our surprise….GROSS! My friend Kelly called downstairs and complained and we get $50 knocked off our bill!

And for those that are curious. Yes, “He-that-shall-not-be-mentioned” has returned home. Yes, I have seen him. He stopped by on Saturday morning as he was driving in. I wasn’t expecting him at all. He hung out until I had to leave to get my girls off to the zoo and for me to get finished packing for my Dallas trip. It was kinda strange to see him. I was excited in a way but also a little set back and nervous at the same time. He also took me to eat lunch on Monday and to buy me some cool ass lamps for my house. Right now, I am fine with things. I’m not getting all wrapped up in the emotions at this point. I’m not saying that I want to be his best bud and hear about his dates or new girlfriend(s). I doubt I ever will be able to be that kind of friend with him. But for the time being I am fine with things. BUT there is a very very big chance that you guys will one day see a blog where I am upset once again, but this will be my own fault. I’m hoping to be strong though. I CAN DO THIS!

I’ve been MIA so I have lots to write but I’m too tired. Long week to only run into a long weekend. GEEZ! I need a break and I don’t mean a Kit Kat Bar either.

Not much to really write about. This weekend was really uneventful to say the least. Friday night I just came home to a mess at my house to try and clean it up and try my best to get the cabinest painted and doors back up for the party on Saturday. which I will have to say, I was not successful in doing so. I did manage to get the house cleaned but the rest, not so much.

A friend of mine did come by to see me Friday night. I haven’t seen his ass since freakin 10th grade. We use to hang out all the time but as we got older we kinda went our separate ways. It was nice to catch up. We stayed up till almost 6 in the morning and mind you I had to get up at around 830 on Saturday to go to ball games, clean, shop and cook for the party. I was TIRED!!! but it was really nice to just hang out and talk with an old friend.

Saturday was my housewarming party. It turned out pretty good, except it was FREEZING OUT! Was kinda hoping that we could have moved it all outside and everyone just mingle but it was too damn cold! I got lots of goodies! Mainly got gift cards to like Pier 1, Lowes, Home Depot and Wal-Mart but heck need em all. Can’t wait to go spend lots of money that is not mine! WOO-HOO!!!

Saturday night I didn’t do a damn thing. I sipped on wine all day long, and then went to my daughters ball tournament and by the time that was done i was ready for bed. I had several of my friends calling me to come out and play but as much as I wanted to and needed to get out and hang with friends, I was too freakin’ tired. I think I fell asleep at like 9 if not sooner. HA! Sad sad deal I know!

Today I worked at the restaurant. I work every other Sunday when I don’t have the kiddos for a friend of mine that runs a local Italian Restaurant. They have brunch on Sundays and all the rich, blue collar folk come down for it and they tip GOOD!!!! I always dread to get up and go but I’m always glad once I count up my tips at the end of the day. I mean $120+ for 4 hours of work to only fill drinks and clean up dishes here and there. Not too bad. But damn it still is hard work and having to deal with some of those people, they can be so hateful I tell ya! But you also get to eat some really good food after its all done. That’s another good purke. MMMM….good stuff I tell ya!

See, what did I tell ya, BORING!!!! Sorry guys! Off to bed now. Ihave to get up at 430AM to get fit! OOOO….can’t wait!
